 Moral story: “Baby elephant and the tailor”

Once upon a time, a tailor was working in his shop. Suddenly a baby elephant appeared from jungle. The baby elephant was crying with hunger. The tailor gave him a piece of a loaf. The calf took the piece and went away. After that the elephant got friendship with tailor and visits tailor’s shop frequently.

One day the tailor was in angry mood due to quarrel with his one of the customer. The baby elephant came as usual.  Instead of giving anything to eat, he pricked the elephant’s trunk with his needle. The elephant felt agonized with pain. He made up his mind to teach a lesson to the tailor.

He went to the river and then filled up its trunk with muddy water. He stopped at the tailor’s shop and throw all the muddy water on the garments in the shop. The clothes were spoiled with mud. The tailor suffered a great loss. He felt sad for his misdeed. But it was too late to weep.

Moral:

As you sow so shall you reap;

Tit for tat;

He who digs a pit for others falls into it himself
